Its the start of our next featured series showcase! Over the next two meetings we shall watch four shows and then choose the one to watch in its entirety.
This week its Shirobako, a totally true and accurate representation of the anime industry. Following that we shall watch A Place Further than the Universe, which is Yuru Camp with plot. And lots of snow.

Its the first meeting of 2019 and the last of our 2000-09 season. We shall be watching fantasy adventure film Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike!

Its the start of our 2000-09 season! We’ll be starting off with two very different takes on ‘girls with guns’ shows.
We shall be watching the first two episodes of both Gunslinger Girl (2003-04) and Burst Angel (2007).

This week its back to the 90s with supernatural action show Blue Seed. Then we are on to the finale of our current Featured series Diebuster!

We shall be starting the evening with the first two episodes of an original show produced by Madhouse, A Place Further than the Universe.
Then its on to episodes 3 and 4 of Diebuster!

Then its on to our new featured series! 30 years since its original release and 9 years since we last watched it at WA, we shall again be watching Gunbuster. However this time as it’s a special occasion we shall also watch through the sequel Diebuster as well!
