Westcountry Anime Meeting #543, Thursday 15th of August from 8pm in the cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.

Westcountry Anime Meeting #536, Thursday 27th of June from 8pm in the cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.

We’ll be starting off with what is techically a mecha show. Directed by Kawaguchi Keiichirō, with designs by Humikane Shimada, we’ll be watching Frame Arms Girl.

Then its on to the penultimate episodes of our current featured series. Will Kodai and Mori ever be reunited? Will Kodai ever spend more than five miniutes on the bridge? Will Akira show us again why she is best girl? Find out in episodes 23 and 24 of Space Battleship Yamato 2199!

Westcountry Anime Meeting #518, Thursday 31st of January from 8pm in the cellar bar of the Fortescue Hotel.

First up we shall be watching Goblin Slayer!. Adapted from the novel series by Kumo Kagyu, the series is a tribute to table top role playing games, particularly Dungeons and Dragons, as well as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Afterwards its on to something completely different with episodes 7 and 8 of A Place Further than the Universe. This time the girls finally get on the boat.

Its the start of our next featured series showcase! Over the next two meetings we shall watch four shows and then choose the one to watch in its entirety.

This week its Shirobako, a totally true and accurate representation of the anime industry. Following that we shall watch A Place Further than the Universe, which is Yuru Camp with plot. And lots of snow.

Then its on to the penultimate episodes of our current featured series Kokokku!
