I think it would have been nice to have a whole episode worth of Jacobi-nastiness, but I think the sacrifice will be worth it for two episodes of John Simm nastiness.

What I saw there was the introduction of a Master who can potentially be the Doctor's "mirror". If they get it right, I can see this working as well as the Pertwee/Delgado Doctor and Master. Two sides of the same coin.
